Spread the love

Ingredients for 18 servings:

  • 150 ml cream
  • 6 small chocolate bars (Milky Way bars)
  • 100 g oil (sunflower oil)
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 6 chocolate bars (Milky Way bars)
  • some powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

delicious fluffy muffins (filled with Milky Way)

Heat the cream and melt 6 Milky Ways in it. Once the Milky Ways have dissolved, let the chocolate cream cool. The cooler the cream, the darker it will become. Put the oil, sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs in a mixing bowl and beat until fluffy. Now add the chocolate cream and beat again. Add the flour and baking powder to the batter and stir briefly. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Take paper muffin cases and place them in the muffin tin. If you don’t have a muffin tin, stack two or three paper cases inside each other for more stability. Now put some batter into the cases. Cut each of the 6 Milky Way bars into 3 pieces and place one piece in the center of each muffin. Now fill the piece of Milky Way with some more batter. Only fill the cases 2/3 full, as the muffins will still rise. Bake the muffins for 20 minutes. After baking, let them cool, dust with powdered sugar, and enjoy while they’re still fresh – delicious! Tip: Let the muffins cool completely – otherwise they’ll easily fall apart!
