Thousand Island Tuna Salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 can of tuna
  • ½ iceberg lettuce
  • 1 bottle of dressing (cocktail sauce)
  • 2 tbsp brandy
  • 1 bunch chives, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mixed salad with tuna and delicious dressing

Peel the onion, halve it, and cut it into thin strips. Wash the bell pepper, halve it, trim it, and cut it into strips. Wash the tomatoes, remove the stems, and cut them into eighths. Drain the tuna and tear it into large pieces. Roughly chop the iceberg lettuce, wash it, and spin it dry. Arrange the lettuce in a nest on plates. Arrange the tuna pieces, onion strips, and bell pepper strips on top. Mix the cocktail sauce with the brandy and drizzle over the salad. Wash the chives and cut them into curls. Arrange the tomato eighths on the salad and serve sprinkled with the chives.
