Tuna salad à la Simone

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 3 tbsp Miracle Whip
  • 1 cup sour cream or yogurt or sour cream
  • pepper
  • Salt
  • 2 cans of tuna, natural
  • 1 can of corn
  • 1 iceberg lettuce

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Put the first six ingredients in a bowl and mix together. Season generously (!) with pepper and salt, as the iceberg lettuce also imparts flavor. Clean the iceberg lettuce and cut into strips or tear it apart. Only fold it in just before serving. Notes: You can of course use other leaf lettuce, but we prefer iceberg lettuce as it stays crisp longer and doesn’t get mushy. Whether you use sour cream or yogurt is up to you. If you use sour cream, it can be helpful to stir it a little smoother with a splash of milk. We love this salad at a barbecue or just with baguette for dinner. I find it difficult to specify the portions. As a main course, I would say 2-3 portions, as a side dish about 6 portions.
