Thousand Islands Salad Dressing

The perfect thousand islands salad dressing recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Thousand Islands Dressing:

  • 100 g Yoghurt, 3.5%
  • 3 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 El Sunflower oil
  • 1 tbsp Orange juice
  • 2 tbsp Condensed milk or cream
  • 1 tbsp Mustard
  • 1 tsp Chopped rosemary
  • 1 tsp Caraway seed
  • 1 tsp Coriander
  • 1 tsp Bell peppers, hot as rose
  • 1 Msp Black pepper from the mill
  • 1 Msp Salt

Topping:

  • 1 tbsp Finely chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp Sunflower seeds

Vegetable garnish:

  • 50 g Paprika, colored
  • 1 piece Shallot, chopped
  • 3 tbsp Sweet corn (vegetable corn) cooked
  • 1 piece Mandarin, in pieces

Dressing:

  1. Measure the ingredients and stir roughly in a blender jar. The optical coloring should be orange-red, then it is optimal.

Suitable for:

  1. The dressing is ideal for green salad, egg salad or sausage salad.
