Instructions
Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour
ala Roswita, for a tray
Make a fake yeast dough from the first seven ingredients. Add enough flour to make the dough and roll it out easily onto the baking sheet. Make holes in the base with a fork. Then fry the peeled, diced onions and bacon in a pan until translucent. Season with spices such as caraway, salt, pepper, marjoram, and thyme. Once slightly cooled, spread over the dough. Now beat the eggs in a bowl until frothy and mix in the cream. Season the mixture again with salt, pepper, and nutmeg and spread it over the onion and ham mixture. Place the baking sheet in the oven for about 35 minutes at 180°C (gas mark 3). If you like, you can sprinkle pizza cheese over the last mixture beforehand. It tastes just as good without it, though, and is closer to the original.
