Tine-style onion strips

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • some oil or vegetable cream
  • 500 g minced meat (I use chicken)
  • 4 large onions or 5 small ones
  • 3 cups of cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • some soy sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • Broth, granulated
  • possibly milk with flour or cornstarch to thicken

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

With lots of onions

Season the strips with salt and pepper and fry in hot oil or vegetable cream. Slice the onions into rings and add them. Fry everything for about 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Deglaze with a little soy sauce (about 1-1 1/2 tablespoons, otherwise it will be too salty). Now add the cream and bring to a boil briefly, then stir in the sour cream. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and broth. If the sauce is still too runny, you can mix a little milk with no more than 1 tablespoon of flour or cornstarch (there should be no lumps), add it to the sauce, and bring to a boil. If the sauce is too thick, you can thin it out a little more with a little milk. Noodles or rice are delicious with this sauce.
