Tipsy apricot crumble with marzipan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 apricots, ripe
  • 100 g butter, cold
  • 80 g marzipan paste
  • 120 g flour
  • 60 g sugar
  • 4 tbsp apricot liqueur or orange liqueur
  • 2 pinch(s) cinnamon

Pit the apricots, cut them into wedges, and arrange them in a shallow casserole or tart dish. Drizzle with the liqueur and sprinkle with cinnamon. Knead the butter, marzipan, flour, and sugar into crumbles, spread them over the apricots, and bake at 180°C for about 20 minutes, until the crumbles are nicely browned and crispy. The crumble tastes best served lukewarm.
