- 250 ml orange liqueur
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Rest period approx. 14 days; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 14 days 45 minutes
For adults only!
Peel the oranges, removing the white inner pith. Place the orange segments and spices in a large, wide-mouthed jar, preferably with a twist-off cap. Stir together the sugar, water, and grenadine and bring to a boil until the sugar has completely dissolved. Just before the end, add the orange liqueur. Pour the mixture over the fruit in the jar, turn it upside down for 5 minutes, and then turn it upside down again (twist-off jars only). Let the oranges steep for 1-2 weeks. Afterward, the oranges can be served sliced with the liquid for dessert. The sky’s the limit.
