Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 kg apples, sweet variety
  • 175 ml water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Peel, core, and cut the apples into small pieces. Place everything in a saucepan with the remaining ingredients and simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes. Purée everything with a hand blender until smooth. Let cool. Done. Enjoy! If you’d rather preserve the applesauce than serve it after it’s cooled, immediately pour it into hot, rinsed jars and seal them tightly.
