Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g flour

- ¾ cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 ½ packs of feta cheese, possibly 2
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp milk
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
small Greek feta pockets, makes 20 pieces
Dissolve half a cube of yeast in the lukewarm milk! Put the flour in a bowl, mix with the salt, add the yeast milk and the oil, and knead with a dough hook until you have a smooth dough. Form the dough into ping-pong ball-sized balls. Mash the feta and mix with 1 egg, 1 egg white, and a little pepper! Flatten the balls, add the feta mixture, and seal them (I always make small rectangles and fold in the short sides first, then the long ones to create little logs, but this is up to you). Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Mix the egg yolk with the tbsp of milk and brush the feta parcels with it! You can let them rise a little longer, but it’s not necessary! Bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes!
