Toast from the pan

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 6 slice(s) toast bread, or regular bread
  • 2 slice(s) sausage, (beer ham)
  • 2 slices of cooked ham
  • 2 slice(s) salami, large
  • 6 slice(s) cheese, large
  • 2 slices of pineapple
  • 2 slice(s) tomato(s)
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • Spice mix (paprika spice), hot
  • Butter or oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

hearty and fruity, fast

Heat butter or oil in a pan (with a lid), cover and fry the slices of toast on one side (not too hot so nothing burns), then turn. Top two slices each with beer ham, cooked ham, and salami, and add cheese to each slice. Cover and toast the other side. Turn off the heat, cover, and let stand for a short while to allow the cheese to melt. Sprinkle the finished slices of beer ham with the paprika seasoning. Sprinkle pineapple on the slices of cooked ham, and tomato slices and 1 tablespoon of ketchup on each slice of bread with salami. Enjoy while still warm. Of course, you can add the pineapple and tomato slices and ketchup to the cheese in the pan, but it tastes fresher and fruitier if you add it at the end. Serve with fresh pineapple juice or spritzer.
