Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 8 slices of toast
  • 200 g meat sausage
  • 5 eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Garlic
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with egg and sausage

Cut the toast into small cubes and fry them in plenty of oil until crispy. Then dice the sausage and fry them with the rest. Add the eggs and immediately whisk to combine the egg whites and yolks. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic, and serve immediately once the egg is set. The toast will take on a sloppy texture and absorb the liquid—it looks a bit like a potato. My boyfriend, astonished, asked me what it was. It looks like a potato, but tastes better.
