Toast: Toast Singapore

- 4 Discs Box of white bread or toast bread
- 250 g Chicken liver
- 1 tablespoon Clarified butter
- 1 Knife point Yellow curry powder
- Salt and pepper
- 50 ml Cream
- 1 disc Pineapple fresh
- 0,5 piece Banana fresh
- 50 g Grated Emmental
- Cut the chicken liver into small pieces and fry quickly in hot clarified butter. Season with curry, salt and pepper and deglaze with a little cream.
- Spread the liver on the prepared white bread slices.
- Cut the ananas and banana into small cubes and fry in the same pan. Spread on the chicken liver.
- Sprinkle the grated cheese on top and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until the cheese has melted.
- Serve on preheated plates with a little salad.
- Note 6: With this recipe – I had totally forgotten it and found it again while leafing through an old cookbook – I won a trip to Amsterdam 33 years ago at the Consumenta at the Dutch cheese stand. At that time I had to use Gouda.
