  • 4 Discs Box of white bread or toast bread
  • 250 g Chicken liver
  • 1 tablespoon Clarified butter
  • 1 Knife point Yellow curry powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • 50 ml Cream
  • 1 disc Pineapple fresh
  • 0,5 piece Banana fresh

Instructions

  • Cut the chicken liver into small pieces and fry quickly in hot clarified butter. Season with curry, salt and pepper and deglaze with a little cream.
  • Spread the liver on the prepared white bread slices.
  • Cut the ananas and banana into small cubes and fry in the same pan. Spread on the chicken liver.
  • Sprinkle the grated cheese on top and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees until the cheese has melted.
  • Serve on preheated plates with a little salad.
  • Note 6: With this recipe - I had totally forgotten it and found it again while leafing through an old cookbook - I won a trip to Amsterdam 33 years ago at the Consumenta at the Dutch cheese stand. At that time I had to use Gouda.
