Walnut-cinnamon Stars
The perfect walnut-cinnamon stars recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Casting:
- 70 g Sugar
- 70 g Ground walnuts
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 0,5 fruit Bio lemon zest
- 150 g Cool butter
- 1 Pcs Egg
- 2 packet Vanilla sugar
- 200 g Sifted powdered sugar
- Lemon juice
- 1 Vials Food coloring red
- 1 Vials Food coloring blue
Dough:
- Mix the flour, sugar, walnuts, cinnamon + lemon zest. Divide the butter into cubes, add with the egg and knead until smooth. Wrap in foil and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Then roll out the dough on a lightly floured work surface, about 3mm thick. Now cut out the stars + place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake for about 14 minutes at 160 ° C, while still hot, sprinkle with vanilla sugar.
Casting:
- Mix the powdered sugar with a few drops of food coloring and powdered sugar. I prefer to make 3 tablespoons each. Icing sugar paint my cookies and repeat that.
