Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg ribs
- salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp lard
- 2 tbsp honey
- 500 ml meat broth
- 300 g mixed vegetables (root vegetables), roughly chopped
- 1 onion(s), cut into thin slices
- 1 tbsp caraway seeds, whole or ground
- 1 bay leaf, fresh if possible
- 2 slice(s) bread(s) , (rye bread), crumbled

Season the ribs with pepper and salt and brown them well in lard, then brush with honey. Add the vegetables, caraway seeds, bay leaf, and bread, and pour over the broth. When the meat falls away from the bones after about an hour of simmering, it’s ready.
