Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 steak(s) (tomahawk steak), approx. 5 cm thick
- n. B. Oil
- Sea salt, coarse or salt flakes
- Spice mix (steak pepper)
Instructions

The steak should be at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 90°C (top/bottom heat). Rub the meat with oil, salt, and pepper. Pour a little oil onto a baking sheet, place the steak on it, and cook on the middle rack for 90 minutes; this is medium-rare (test with the palm of your hand: thumb and middle finger). I turned it over halfway through. Remove it and carefully scrape off the seasoning. Heat a pan with oil and sear the meat for 1.5–2 minutes on each side. The steak is tender as butter and is the best I’ve ever eaten. A salad was enough for us as a side dish. With more sides (fries, vegetables, etc.), it would easily serve 3–4 people.
