Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can of corn
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped or 3-4 fresh tomatoes, peeled
  • 150 g bacon
  • 1 large onion(s), finely diced
  • 500 ml chicken broth
  • salt and pepper
  • Spice(s), to taste

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Tomato and corn soup

Sauté the onions and bacon, purée half of the corn in a blender, then add the tomatoes, chicken broth, and corn kernels and simmer for about 10 minutes. Add the puréed corn and season to taste. Serve with fresh white bread or baguette.
