Ingredients

  • 4 piece Onions, about 120 gr.
  • 1 Bit Garlic
  • 2 Sting Butter
  • 1 Can Chopped tomatoes
  • 600 ml Chicken broth
  • 6 piece Potatoes, about 150 g
  • 2 Cans Beans cooked white
  • 150 g Bacon
  • 1 piece Cabanossi, about 100 gr.
  • Salt
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • Sugar
  • Cream
  • Fresh thyme

Instructions

  • Peel and roughly dice the onions. Peel and dice the potatoes. Put the beans in a sieve and rinse well. Cut the bacon into strips. Cut the Cabanossi into slices and then cut them in half. Peel the garlic and dice it finely.
  • Let the butter get hot in a saucepan and first fry the bacon cross, add the onions & garlic and let everything sear again briefly. Now add the tomatoes, the broth as well as the beans and the potatoes, season with salt & sugar & pepper and let simmer until the potatoes just have a "bite". Then take the saucepan off the stove, add the Cabanossi and just let it stand.
  • In the meantime, pluck off a few thyme leaves.
  • Season the soup again to taste, put it in a soup cup, refine it with a dash of cream and sprinkle with thyme and now ..... enjoy your meal .....
