Tomato bread from the bread maker

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 600 g spelt flour type 1050
  • 60 g pesto, red
  • 60 g tomato paste
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 270 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

with red pesto and tomato paste, makes a loaf of about 1 kg

First, fill the bread maker’s bowl with water. Add the tomato paste, pesto, and flour. Make a well in the center and sprinkle in the yeast. Sprinkle the salt on the outer edge of the flour, making sure it doesn’t come into contact with the yeast. Bake the bread using a quick program with a medium browning level. This takes 2 hours 20 seconds on my bread maker.
