Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 200 g tomato paste
- 2 m.-sized carrot(s), (finely grated)
- 1 medium-sized onion(s), finely chopped
- 125 g butter
- herbal salt
- Herbs of Provence
- Chili pepper(s), fresh, for those who like it hot

for all those who like fruity things!
Mix the grated carrots with the tomato paste (or finely chopped chili pepper), and the chopped onion. Add the butter and season with salt and herbs. If the mixture doesn’t blend properly with the butter, this is due to the different temperatures of the ingredients. Gently warm the mixture in a water bath (do not let it become completely liquid). The spread can also be frozen in portions. It tastes delicious on rolls or fresh bread.
