Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g flour
- 1 tsp, heaped dry yeast
- ¼ cup milk, warm
- 400 g diced tomatoes
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp oil
- 6 basil leaves
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes
Combine milk, yeast, and sugar and let it rise for 5 minutes. Then add all the other ingredients and knead with a dough hook for 10 minutes. Oil a deep baking pan and dust with a little flour. Pour in the dough, cover with a cloth, and let it rise for 2 hours. Then place it in the oven and bake for 10 minutes at 275 degrees Celsius, followed by another 20-25 minutes at 220 degrees Celsius. Place a container filled with water in the oven during baking to ensure the bread is nice and crispy.
