Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 400 g sugar
  • 400 g milk
  • 600 g flour
  • ½ pack of dry yeast
  • 1 cup of lukewarm water
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup flour, wheat flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 125 ml oil
  • 600 g flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

Important: Do not put the dough in the fridge and do not touch it with metal. Only use wooden or plastic spoons. To get started you need: 1/2 sachet of yeast, 1 cup of lukewarm water, 1 tbsp sugar and 1 cup of wheat flour mix well. Then let the whole thing rise in a warm place for 2 days (important: mix several times). You now have a dough as if you had received it as a gift. 1. Day: Stir 2. Day: Add 200g of sugar and stir 3. Day: Add 200ml of milk and stir Be careful!! The dough will rise and triple in size!! 4. Day: Add 200g of flour and stir 5. Day: Stir — stirring a lot is important! 6. Day: Add 200g sugar, 200g flour and 200ml milk and stir until the dough is smooth. On the same day, divide the dough into four parts. Give three parts, along with the instructions, to three good people. Combine the remaining dough with 200g flour, 3 eggs, 1.5 tsp baking powder, and 125ml oil. Stir just until the dough is smooth. Pour into a baking pan and bake for 40 to 50 minutes at 180 to 190°C. Good luck! The original dough for this bread comes from the Vatican. The bread brings family luck and fulfills wishes. It should only be baked once in a lifetime.
