Tomato – mozzarella – basil

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g cocktail tomatoes
  • 500 g mozzarella or balls
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 shallot(s), not necessarily
  • lemon juice
  • 170 ml olive oil
  • 30 ml balsamic vinegar, white
  • basil
  • Salt
  • pepper

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 10 minutes

a little different and super tasty

I puree the ingredients for the marinade. I pierce the cherry tomatoes with a toothpick. I can either chop the mozzarella into small pieces or use the ready-made balls. Mix everything together and let it marinate well. It just keeps getting better! It looks a bit different, but it’s very tasty. Serve garnished with basil leaves!
