Tomato mushrooms – fly agarics

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 small tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

unusual garnish for cold platters

Boil the eggs hard for about 8-10 minutes, peel them, and trim off a little of the flattened end to ensure they stand securely. Wash and halve the smaller, firm tomatoes. Remove the seeds and place the tomato halves over the top of the egg. To complete the toadstool look, dot the red top with mayonnaise dots.
