Tomato rice

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 bag of rice
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 400 ml water
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Tomato paste (tube)
  • possibly Fondor or Maggi to taste
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the rice in the bag for 20 minutes, finely chop the onion, and dice the bell pepper. Sauté the onion in a little oil, add the diced bell pepper, and cook briefly. Deglaze the mixture with water, add tomato paste, and season with pepper, salt, paprika (and Fondor if desired). Then stir in the rice. The mixture will be a bit runny at first, but the rice will absorb the water; it will take a few minutes.
