Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 500 ml milk
  • Salt
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Heat the butter, add the flour, and cook over medium heat, stirring continuously. Add the tomato paste and stir until smooth, then pour in 50 ml of milk and stir again until smooth. Pour in the remaining milk, stir until smooth, and bring the sauce to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and nutmeg.
