Tomato sauce with artichokes and pasta

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 jar artichoke(s), pickled
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • salt and pepper
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 250 g pasta, of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Chop the artichokes from the jar and heat them with the tomatoes. Add the spices and sugar, along with a teaspoon of the artichoke oil. Simmer the sauce gently for about 8 minutes, but not too hot. Meanwhile, boil the pasta. The sauce should be ready shortly before it’s done. Serve without grated cheese!
