My son’s favorite recipe

Peel the onions and dice them along with the cooked ham. Peel and press the garlic. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente. Meanwhile, sauté the onions. When they begin to brown, add the garlic and ham and sauté. Add the thawed creamed spinach to the pan and heat gently, stirring until bubbling. Now add the cheese wedges and the cream. Stir until the cheese is melted. Season with granulated stock, pepper, and nutmeg. Drain the cooked pasta, but do not rinse it! Stir the grated Gouda cheese into the pasta. Toss the pasta with the spinach sauce and serve immediately.
