Tomato Soup Fresh and Fruity

The perfect tomato soup fresh and fruity recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • Vine tomatoes
  • Black tomatoes
  • Onion
  • Black garlic
  • Lemongrass
  • Pointed peppers
  • Red chilli pepper
  • Tamarinds (sour date) freshly ripe
  • Oregano (wild marjoram) fresh
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Vegetable broth
  • Tomato juice
  • Vitell
  • Physalis
  • Brown sugar
  1. You start by preparing the tomatoes and all the other ingredients that need to be cut.
  2. Pound the tamer bark and divide it. Quarter the physalis. Knock on the lemongrass and cut the chilli in half and remove the seeds.
  3. Now sweat lemongrass, onion, garlic and a pointed pepper in a little clarified butter. As soon as the onion is golden yellow, add the brown sugar and tomatoes. Sweat well once, too. Now add the tamarind fruit.
  4. In the next step the liquid ingredients are added and everything is seasoned abundantly. Put the lid on and let it boil for 1 hour.
  5. As soon as the soup has boiled down, add the physalis fruits. If you don’t like that, just leave it out. If they are used then simmer for another 10 minutes.
  6. Since we were really hungry, I totally forgot to take a picture of the plate. SORRY 🙂 but will be made up for next time.
