Cheesecake with Applesauce

The perfect cheesecake with applesauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • For the crumble dough:
  • 350 g Flour
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 150 g Soft butter
  • For the filling:
  • 500 g Applesauce
  • 250 g Curd cheese 20%
  • 250 g Mascarpone
  • 150 g Soft butter
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla pudding
  • 2 Free range eggs
  1. Make a crumble dough by hand in a bowl from soft butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and the flour. Pour two-thirds of the crumble into the prepared springform pan, push up one edge and press against the bottom. Put the rest of the crumble aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whip soft butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Add the quark and stir in. Now stir in the mascarpone. Add the vanilla pudding and stir in as well. Finally stir in the eggs. Spread the applesauce on the dough base, pour the mixture over it and smooth it out. Now distribute the remaining crumble on top.
  3. Place the cake in the oven preheated to 200 degrees upper and lower heat for approx. 50 – 55 minutes. After the baking time, take the cake out of the oven and let it cool down in the tin.
