Tomato soup made from tomato paste

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 ½ liters of beef broth
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion(s), diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 tbsp, crushed paprika powder, sweet
  • 2 tbsp, leveled flour
  • 2 tubes of tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 1 pinch(s) of oregano
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar and VEGETA to taste.
  • 6 pieces of fresh bratwurst (butcher’s sausage)
  • 100 g rice or rice noodles

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the rice noodles or rice beforehand. Sauté the onions and garlic in hot olive oil. Briefly sauté the paprika. Add the flour, stir, and deglaze with the broth. Stir in the tomato paste and season with herbs and spices. Remove the sausage from the casing and form into small dumplings. Let it simmer in the soup for about 20 minutes. Add the rice noodles or rice at the end.
