Fios tomato soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cans of tomatoes, peeled
  • 1 tube(s) Tomato paste
  • 2 large onions
  • 250 g beef
  • 1 liter vegetable broth, depending on how thin you like it
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Paprika powder

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

simple, quick and delicious

Heat the oil and briefly sauté the diced onions. Season briefly with sugar, salt, and paprika, then add the finely chopped meat and continue sautéing. Add the tomato paste and canned tomatoes. Top up with the vegetable stock and let it simmer gently. Depending on our mood, we also add pasta or rice to the soup. Sometimes I make it without any meat at all, but then my eldest always complains a bit. Sometimes I add a spoonful of sour cream or cream cheese to the plate, along with a piece of white bread. If you like, you can also add basil.
