Finely chop the onion and garlic and sauté them with the chili in hot oil in a pan. Chop the ginger, add it, drizzle with honey, and after a few minutes, deglaze everything with a generous splash of red wine. Add the chopped apple, pour in a little water, and bring everything to a boil. Then add the canned (or fresh) tomatoes and bring back to a boil. Once all the ingredients are sufficiently soft, puree them and season with pepper, salt, and black cumin. Finally, garnish the soup with parsley before serving and, if desired, add a dash of cream to reduce the spiciness.
