Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g tomatoes, pureed
  • ½ liter vegetable broth
  • 1 onion(s), finely chopped
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, finely chopped
  • ½ bell pepper(s), red, finely diced
  • 100 g pasta
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp basil, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Sauté the onions, garlic, and bell peppers in oil and deglaze with the passata. Simmer for a few minutes, then pour in the vegetable stock and season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Simmer for another 5 minutes, add the pasta, and continue cooking until the pasta is tender. Finally, stir in the basil and serve hot with pastries or bread! This recipe serves 2 people as a main course; as a starter, it serves 4.
