Tomato – zucchini – sauce with pasta

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 can of tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 small zucchini, diced
  • 2 peppers, yellow or green, diced
  • 200 g ham, diced
  • 1 large onion(s), diced
  • salt and pepper
  • Spice(s), Italian
  • some oil
  • 250 g spaghetti or pasta of your choice
  • possibly basil if required
  • e.g. Parmesan, grated

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

quick and easy

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Heat the oil in a pan, add the diced ham, and fry until well browned. Then add the diced zucchini and bell pepper and fry everything until crispy. Deglaze with the tomatoes and season with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs, if desired. Add fresh basil, if desired. Pour the sauce over the cooked pasta and serve with basil and freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Tip: Small shrimp or crab are also good substitutes for the diced ham.
