  • 8 tomatoes
  • 4 onions
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 5 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 20 minutes

Quarter the tomatoes, slice the onions into rings, and finely chop the garlic. Make a marinade from balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper, and sugar and mix all the ingredients together. Refrigerate the salad and let it sit for at least 3 hours. However, it’s tastiest if made the day before, although it won’t be as crisp.
