Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 packs of tortellini (250 g each), assorted varieties
  • 2 packs of cheese, grated
  • 2 cups processed cheese, e.g. Gouda
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 5 slice(s) salami, ham or turkey sausage
  • n. B. Salt
  • n. B. Pfeffer
  • e.g. chili flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

First, cook the tortellini according to the instructions, but cook for about 1 minute less than the specified time. In the meantime, put the heavy cream and cream cheese in a small saucepan and heat gently, stirring constantly, until the cream cheese blends with the cream. Once the sauce has become nice and creamy, season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes. When the tortellini are cooked, quickly drain and let drain, then place in a large baking dish. Dice the sausage and spread over the tortellini. Pour the seasoned sauce over the tortellini and sprinkle the grated cheese evenly on top. Now preheat the oven to 200°C; this will allow the tortellini to absorb some of the sauce. When the oven is hot, reduce the temperature to 180°C and place the baking dish on the middle rack of the oven. Bake for 10-20 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.
