Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 bags of tortellini, fresh
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 250 ml chicken broth
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • some peas (frozen)
  • 1 small chili pepper(s), if desired
  • 1 onion(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

delicious for children and quick to make

Finely dice the onion and sauté in a little olive oil until translucent. Dice the tomatoes and add them to the pan with the onions. Stir, then deglaze with the chicken stock. Finely chop the chili pepper, dice the cooked ham, and add both to the pan. Pour in the cream and bring everything to a boil. As soon as the sauce boils, add the tortellini. According to the package instructions, they only need to simmer for 2 minutes. Then I add the peas, let them cook for a short while, and finally, add a cup of sour cream. After that, the whole thing shouldn’t be boiling any further, so the sour cream should only be stirred in just before serving. My kids are crazy about these tortellini.
