Tortellini in paprika cream sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pack of tortellini
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green, diced
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red, diced
  • 1 onion(s), finely diced
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 150 g cheese (Gouda), grated
  • 40 g flour
  • 250 ml water (from the pasta water)

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the tortellini in salted water for about 10 minutes until al dente. When draining, reserve 250 ml of the pasta water. Mix the pepper and onion cubes with the cooked tortellini and place in a baking dish. Add the cup of cream. Mix the flour with 250 ml of pasta water to make a light sauce and pour over the pasta. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 30-40 minutes. Serve immediately.
