Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 tomatoes
  • 2 onions, red
  • 3 bell peppers, red, green and yellow
  • 2 cans of tuna in its own juice
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar, light
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Spanish summer salad

Cut the ingredients into really small pieces. It’ll be even finer if you peel the peppers with a shepherd’s knife before use. Drain and shred the tuna, mix everything in a large bowl with olive oil and vinegar, and season with salt and pepper. Cut the ingredients really small—only then is a “trampo” a “trampo,” as the Spanish say! Tip: Without the tuna, it also makes a great side dish with grilled sea bream or a steak.
