Ingredients for 4 servings:
- ½ head of red cabbage
- ½ head of jamon cabbage
- 3 carrots
- 2 m.-sized onion(s)
- e.g. chili
- 1 cup sour cream, 200 g
- 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes
Cut the red cabbage and the jamon cabbage into thin strips. Finely grate the carrots and onions (or chili, if you like). Mix these four ingredients with 1 teaspoon of salt and knead thoroughly. Let stand for at least 30 minutes. Then add all the other ingredients and knead thoroughly again. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving. Refrigerate overnight if desired. Goes well with burgers and steaks.
