Trout in Onion and Tomato Bed
The perfect trout in onion and tomato bed recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Pc. Fresh trout (pieces between 700 and 1000gr.)
- 2 pcs. Large onions
- 500 g Potatoes mainly waxy
- 750 g Cocktail tomatoes
- 0,5 liter White wine dry
- Oregano
- Salt pepper
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Soy sauce
- Peel the potato and cut into approx. 5 mm wide slices. Peel and halve the onion and cut into thin slices. Wash and halve the cocktail tomatoes. Wash fish (s), rub dry, rub inside and outside with salt.
- Blanch the potatoes. Steam the onion in olive oil, add salt and soy sauce and mix
- First distribute the onion on a baking sheet, then the potato evenly. Season the potato with salt and pepper. Next, add the cocktail tomatoes and sprinkle with oregano and salt. Distribute the white wine evenly. Finally, place the salted fish on the bed of vegetables.
- Put the baking sheet into the preheated oven and cook with fan-assisted air at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
