Tuna dip

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g cream cheese
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 1 can of tuna
  • 5 capers
  • salt and pepper
  • chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Drain the tuna and break it up with a fork. Drain the capers and finely chop them. Combine the fresh cheese, sour cream, tuna, and capers in a bowl. Season with salt, pepper, and chili powder. Note: You can make the dip with either herb cream cheese or cream or light cream cheese. I recommend a 50/50 mix of cream and herb cream cheese. The tuna can be in oil or in its own juices; both are drained. Capers are very special. I don’t normally eat them, but they give this dip a special something.
