Tuna pasta salad

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (e.g. farfalle)
  • Salt
  • 1 onion(s)
  • ½ bunch basil
  • 5 beefsteak tomatoes
  • 2 large bell peppers, yellow
  • 3 cans of tuna, natural
  • 5 tbsp vinegar (red wine vinegar)
  • 2 ½ tbsp olive oil
  • Pepper, black, from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Prepare the pasta according to the package instructions, rinse, and let cool. Finely chop the onion and thinly slice the basil leaves. Score the tomatoes crosswise, blanch them, peel them, and dice them. Clean the bell peppers and thinly slice them. Drain the tuna and shred it with a fork. Place the pasta, vegetables, onion, and basil in a bowl with the tuna and mix well. Mix the vinegar, oil, pepper, and salt to make a dressing and pour it over the salad ingredients. Let the salad marinate in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.
