Tuna patties

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cans of tuna (1 in vegetables, 1 in its own juice)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • some tomato ketchup, mustard and tomato paste
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 clove(s) garlic, chopped
  • breadcrumbs
  • 4 rolls
  • Fat, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Drain the fish thoroughly. Soak the bread rolls in water and then squeeze out any excess moisture. Mix the fish, bread rolls, egg, parsley, and spices thoroughly. Chop the onion and fry in a little fat until golden brown. Stir the onion and garlic thoroughly into the mixture and thicken with the breadcrumbs. If the consistency is still too soft, add more breadcrumbs. Place in the refrigerator and let it set for about 30 minutes. Then form into patties and fry in a little fat. Serve with parsley potatoes and a cold yogurt and herb sauce.
