Tuna, pepper, and cream pasta dish

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g spiral noodles
  • 2 onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 400 ml cream
  • 2 cans of tuna in oil
  • 3 bell peppers, colored
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • oil
  • e.g. chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Dice the bell peppers, onions, and garlic. Sauté the bell peppers in oil and season with salt and pepper. Then transfer them to a bowl. Now sauté the onions and garlic in the same pan. Add the tuna with the oil and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Let the whole thing simmer until reduced. Then add the bell peppers again. Pour in the cream and let it reduce slightly. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, and paprika. If you like it spicy, you can add a little habanero powder or other chili powder. Stir in the drained pasta before serving.
