Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g low-fat curd cheese
- 275 ml milk
- 60 ml oil (sunflower oil)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- 1 tsp dried herbs (e.g. herbs of Provence)
- 300 g flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 150 g fried onions
- 150 g cheese, shredded
- e.g. tomato paste
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
with quark, makes about 20 rolls
First, mix the quark with milk and oil. Then, season the mixture with salt, sugar, and herbs. For a more beautiful color, I usually add a teaspoon of tomato paste. Then, combine the flour and baking powder and knead both into the quark mixture. Finally, knead in the fried onions and cheese. With moistened hands, form 20-25 rolls and bake them at 180°C for 20-35 minutes, depending on the size, using top and bottom heat. These rolls are perfect for bringing to buffets or as a party snack.
