Tuna Praline Balls

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can tuna in its own juice
  • 1 cup natural goat’s cheese
  • 3 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 3 tbsp pine nuts
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper
  • Sambal Oelek
  • e.g. sesame for breading
  • e.g. lettuce or oranges or arugula
  • n. B. Balsamic vinegar (Crema di Balsamic vinegar)

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

Appetizer, can also be prepared well in the Thermomix

Finely chop the seeds in a food processor or mill. Blend all ingredients except the sesame seeds until creamy using a hand blender or a food processor. Chill in the refrigerator for a few hours to allow the mixture to set. Form the mixture into balls. Roll the balls in sesame seeds and warm them slightly, either in the microwave or in the oven. Then place them on lettuce leaves or place one ball on each peeled orange slice. Garnish with balsamic vinegar. When it comes to decoration, your imagination is the limit; you can also briefly toast the sesame seeds.
