Tuna Ragout pimped

The perfect tuna ragout pimped recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Zucchini
  • 400 g Mushrooms
  • Chopped tomato preserve
  • Tomato paste
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 Cans Tuna canned in oil
  • 2 Cans Drained canned tuna
  • Olive oil
  • Salt pepper paprika
  • Pinch of sugar
  • 1 Squeezed lemon
  • Oregano

preparation

  1. Finely dice the onions, cut the zucchinis into slices and then quarter them, drain the oil from the tuna in a saucepan, remove the stalks from the mushrooms and chop them, cut the mushroom heads into slices

  1. Sweat onions in tuna oil plus olive oil
  2. Put the mushrooms in the pot and braise them with them
  3. Add zucchini and stew for another 3 minutes
  4. Stir in the tomato paste and deglaze with the tomatoes
  5. Mash the tuna into small pieces and add to the sauce and simmer for another 10 minutes
  6. Season to taste with the spices and lemon juice
  7. Serve hot with pasta, rice or just with rolls / baguettes as a snack
