Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 slices of sandwich toast
  • 300 g tuna in its own juice
  • 8 tbsp salad cream (Miracle Whip Balance)
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard, Dijon-
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2 small onions, red
  • 8 leaves of iceberg lettuce
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Cut the slices of toast diagonally. If desired, remove the edges. Drain the tuna and roughly shred it with a fork. Mix the Miracle Whip with the mustard, stir in the tuna, and season with salt and pepper. Thinly slice the tomatoes and onions. Arrange the lettuce on the 8 slices of toast diagonally, spread the tuna cream over the lettuce, and top with tomatoes and onion rings. Use the remaining slices of toast diagonally as a lid. Wrap the sandwich slices tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
